I would like to apologize for this "help file." Due to my financial situation (please see "Registration Information") I cannot afford to register a help file creator/editor. The first $50 I get, though, is going towards one. So, until the next version, this is it. Sorry.

I think everything is pretty much self explanitory, but a couple things could use a note of explanation.
- Converting Mack's Tavern v2.2 to WinBar 1.0
When WinBar converts a Mack's Tavern v2.2 database, it leaves the original Mack's database alone and creates a WinBar database with the name you specified. This would be a good time to alphabetize (see below) the new database. (Mack's databases are not alphabetized.)
I've made WinBar look for a C:\MACKS\ directory (it is the default installation directory for Mack's Tavern v2.2), but if you have it installed somewhere else, you will have to go to that directory by selecting it in the commond dialog box. One last note: Since Remarks and Tried status are exclusive to WinBar, all Remarks fields will be empty, and all Tried checkboxes will be unchecked upon conversion.
When converting, WinBar asks if you would like to convert the drink names to upper/lower case. Mack's database's drink names are in all caps and that tends to be hard on the eyes. Converting to upper/lower case takes a little longer, but it's worth it.
- Deleting and Printing
Both of these functions are done in batch (all done at once).
For deleting drinks, just select the checkbox on the drink you want to delete. If you decided later that you would rather not delete the drink, just uncheck it and it won't be deleted. To see all of the drinks that will be deleted, go to Tagged/Delete under the Search menu. To clear ALL delete tags, go to Clear Tags/Delete under the Drinks menu. The actual deletion of the drinks will occur when the file is closed, and even then you will be asked if you would like the drinks to be deleted.
Printing is handled the exact same way except the printing is done whenever you select Print from the File menu. Selecting Print/All prints all drinks, naturally; whereas Print/Tagged prints only the tagged drinks. Tagging, untagging, viewing tagged and clearing tagged is the same for printing as it is for deleting.
- Selective Search (Under Search Menu)
In Selective Search, you can select or enter anything you would like to find in the "ingredients" of the drinks. You can search for up to six "ingredients" in Selective Search. The drop-down lists give the standard list of alcohol found under the Search/Liquor menu, but you can also type in whatever you want to find. For example, if you are looking for all drinks that have Carbonated Water in them, you could type "Carbonated Water" or "Water" or "Carbon" or whatever makes you happy. To look for more than one ingredient in the drinks, just click the "And" checkbox next to each ingredient you intend on searching for. For example, if you want to find all drinks with vodka and cola in them, you could select "Vodka" from the default drop-down list. Then click an "And" checkbox and type "cola" in its respective text box. It's easier done than said.
- Alphabetize On Close (Under File Menu)
When selected, the database will be alphabetized when it is closed. Selecting it again will make it NOT alphabetize the database.
- Make Default Database (Under File Menu)
By default, the database that comes with WinBar (WinBar10.br1) is loaded every time the program starts. If you would like to have another database loaded when the program starts, just select Make Default Database while in that database.
